Merlino Technology Srl - formerly Merlino Servizi Srl - is a fully private company.
It was founded in 2002 as a kind-of technological spin-off of Carlo Gavazzi Space SpA.
The idea was to create a compact, qualified and stable, software development work-team to support Gavazzi in ICT activities of its aero-space projects.
The "experiment" was successful. The company succeded in managing the development of a lot of software drivers for the hardware products of Gavazzi (and other partners) and began to support also the software developments of TelematicSolutions SpA, a company that produce telematic, infomobility and video-surveillance applications.
Software is a particular kind of product. It is intangible and abstract and could seem something not concrete, but if it is well coded it very often can be reused in a modular way for a lot of applications!

Working with different companies and foundations - and using constantly the philosophy of creating something more general than what strictly necessary for the partner - Merlino gradually began to store know-how, technologies and a lot of reusable source code modules.
There were more rooms for starting a lot of independent contracts and business...
Thanks to its technical team composed of highly skilled personnel, today the company is fully autonomous in implementing complete integrated solutions.
Merlino Technology Srl is certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 for:
"Design, development, integration, support and maintenance of software components for the automation of company processes. Trade of hardware and software products. Design and manufacture of hardware interfaces for control systems."
