The following picture shows what we call the "Global Vision of an Interworking Distributed Processors (IDP) network".
In the figure you can distinguish 3 "sub-visions" each one collecting the solutions we can offer for a particular dominion of applications:
» The On-board Vision collects some of the embededded systems we can offer;
» The Services Vision groups our server applications;
» The User-Interface Vision collects some of our solutions for easy-to-use man/services interactions.
An example of a typical application that includes all aforementioned sub-visions is the control and monitoring of a boat or a house.
On the boat you must have an advanced embedded system that can control on-board devices (On-board Vision). The user can interact with his boat using an easy-to use application running on his smartphone (User-Interface Vision). The boat is constantly monitored by a services provider that offers security and other kind of services.
